About JFI Jets
Air Rutter International, LLC d.b.a JFI Jets, (JFI) formerly known as Skookum Air, Inc. was created in Alaska in 1993 with one Cessna 185. Skookum Air’s primary mission was to fly fishermen, hunters, and supplies from Anchorage to remote Alaskan towns.
In 1993, the company relocated to Long Beach, California and started to grow in the executive aircraft charter industry as Air Rutter International (ARI). During these years, ARI operated and managed an eight aircraft fleet of Citation 500 series and 650 series aircraft. In 1998, ARI moved to Orange County, California. For the following seven years ARI’s headquarters were in Irvine. During this period, ARI grew into a respected management company, operating heavy and midsize jets (such as G-IV, G-II, CL-601 and Hawker 800 / 700).
The company obtained World Wide Operations Specifications creating a foundation for quality and service in the aircraft charter industry. Under new ownership in 2005 Air Rutter International, LLC has returned to Long Beach, California and expanded greatly to become specialists in heavy jet management and international charters.
In 2010, ARI re-branded itself as JetFlite International and today JetFlite International manages 13 aircraft, consisting of a 8 Gulfstreams, 2 Challenger 601s, a Citation X, a Hawker 400XP and a Lear 60.
JetFlite International continues to grow and has opened satellite locations in Dallas (TX) and both Santa Ana & Van Nuys (CA). JetFlite International has also opened remote offices in Farmingdale, New York, and Moscow Russia.
JetFlite International continues to work diligently to set the standards for private aircraft charters, through safety, management, and a dedication to service.
