LONG BEACH, CA. November 7th, 2011 – JetFlite International (JFI) has started an aircraft management program that can potentially save qualified aircraft owners nearly $300,000 annually, said Bill Cripe, JFI’s chief executive officer.

The program, JetFlite Management Advantage, includes guaranteed savings in virtually every area of aircraft ownership including fuel, hangar rentals, maintenance, insurance, crew training and global handling, according to Cripe. “Due to the volume of our collective operations, accounting for many thousands of hours flown per year and services purchased, we have amassed an array of program savings in every area of aircraft ownership and bundled them into the Management Advantage program,” Cripe said.

With operators facing the prospect of high prices for aviation fuel, JFI has negotiated preferred fuel rates at hundreds of airports around the world, resulting in significant discounts, according to Cripe. In addition, JFI has a dedicated fuel department focused on ensuring savings on fuels purchases for all JFI flights.

JetFlite has been operating private jets as an FAA-authorized air carrier for nearly 20 years and currently manages a fleet of 14 jets based at two primary operating bases, Long Beach Airport (LGB) in California and Farmingdale Republic Airport (FRG) in New York a well as other locations including Moscow.

International flights last year accounted for nearly 55 percent of JFI’s total aircraft charter business. “Our flight coordinators manage all trip details and coordinate with the owner or designated personnel 24/7,” Cripe said. JFI’s flight coordinators speak several languages fluently in addition to English, including French, Spanish, German and Russian. “Our contacts around the world can often enable direct handling while saving owners a considerable amount on global handling costs.”
